Kitties do NOT like Wasabi

...in case you were wondering.

I was eating a few Wasabi & soy sauce flavored almonds & Madison wanted to smell them. I usually let him smell what I'm eating because unless it's cheese or chicken, he has zero interest in it, but I'm usually really careful if it's something spicy (or something else that would hurt him if he actually got some on him). Well, he leaned in a little too close & got a tiny piece of the wasabi salt on his nose. His eyes got all squinty & he flinched a few times & I felt SO bad. He doesn't exactly know what "go drink your water" means, so after telling him 2x with no response besides continuing to squint & flinch, I poured a bit of my water (from my water bottle) in the palm of my non-wasabi hand & let him drink it. He thought that was the greatest thing ever.

Maybe I should have given him a piece of gum LOL!
