Does this make you feel old?

So last night I went out to dinner with my mom, aunt & 2 cousins. Great company, yummy food, & lots of laughs. Here are snippets of a couple conversations we had. NOT direct quotes, but the gist of it. (I'll keep names out of it to protect the innocent)

1. records & record players: What are the grooves in the record for? It's just a space between songs. Records have holes in them? No, the grooves make it look like a target (with concentric circles). I don't know what you're talking about.
The record player we found had the arm on it so you could play more than one record. It would play more than one record? Yes, you could stack 2 or 3 records on it & they'd drop down to play ... etc.

Too funny. I'll proudly admit I saved up babysitting money and bought Michael Jackson's Thriller album when I was in Jr. High. I had lots of 45's too. One of my childhood favorite records was the Pete's Dragon soundtrack.

2. Rubber pants: Someone said they used to have rubber pants? Yes, they went over the top of cloth diapers, to keep them from leaking. GROSS. Um, yeah, but even grosser if everything leaked out all over the baby's clothes. Disposable diapers in the 70's were not very good.
