231 years of Freedom

Wow, it never ceases to fill me with gratitude to think about how blessed I am to live in this great country. I am so grateful for our founding fathers - their faith & obedience has blessed generation after generation.

I had a nice relaxing, fun day today and to cap it off I went up to my parents house & watched about 7 sets of fireworks from their upstairs porch. Most of them were too small to REALLY enjoy, but the ones at the U and Sugarhouse were big enough to oooh & aaaah over. I must have either missed the ones at the Bees game or they were behind the tree, cuz they would have been closer than Sugarhouse.

I'm thinking of taking some cooking classes around the valley. I can't believe how expensive most of them are ($50-$75), but there are some in the $15-$35 range too. I might bite the bullet on some of the expensive ones because they're classes I really want to go to . There are also some great ones (& affordable) up in Logan - but that is SUCH a LONG drive - don't know that it's worth it.

The Trib prints a month's worth of cooking classes the 1st wednesday of the month. If you're interested, here's the link.
