"Look At Me" blogging

I know I haven't posted in way too long & I have a lot to say....when I have more time (lol) but I just had to comment on all the people who start a blog when they A. get married or B. get pregnant/have a baby.

Frankly I find it annoying.

I know those are great, life changing occasions, but it's like they're saying "Look At Me, I'm so wonderful now that I'm married or having a kid". Wasn't there anything worth writing about when you were single or childless? Or is it just time to start telling everyone how great you are?

ok, enough venting.

UPDATE: Ok, apparently I offended 1/2 the known world. I had 2nd thoughts about posting what I did, but did it anyway. sorry. I'm not going to delete it because it's already out there, but just know that I don't really care what your motivation for blogging is. Especially if you are a friend or family - I'm just glad you have a blog!
