The cutest baby ever* ... poops ALL the time, and smiles in his sleep

*obviously I'm a little biased :-)

So I'm going home tomorrow, and although I'm sure my sister & her husband will be glad to have the air mattress out of the living room (after 11 days), I will miss not being able to snuggle & kiss & rock baby J to sleep. Of course I will miss my sister too. She is such a good mom. She loves baby J SOOOOO much ....even with all the craziness that they've been through. Maybe it's because of that, that she loves him even more. Today he is 1 month old. (it's also his Dad's birthday) He weighed 9lbs 15 oz on Tuesday when he went to the doctor. Speaking of his Dad, baby J has a great dad - totally hands on, not afraid to change a diaper or get up with him in the middle of the night & most importantly, loves him VERY much.

Happily, Thursday the three of them are coming to SLC, so I'll only have to go 5 days without seeing the little nugget. Baby J is being blessed on Sunday, so I'm sure I'll have a bit of sharing to do cuz EVERYONE will want to hold him. But they're staying at my parents house, so I'll just hang out there & maybe even babysit him while A & T run errands or whatever.

Back to the pooping thing...last night I was in the kitchen making cookies & washing dishes while A & T were in the bathroom giving baby J a bath. No big deal...until I hear A say "grody to the max!" & lots of ewww, gross...nasty...type things. Yep, as all baby's do, he pooped in his bathwater. yuck! Seriously babies = poop, pee, eat, burp, sleep & repeat constantly throughout the day...predictable, but taxing & yet rewarding.
