No Chemo For My Mom!

My mom's Dr called her this morning & told her they didn't find any cancer in the lymph nodes they took out, so she won't have to go through chemotherapy! What a sigh of relief & a huge debt of gratitude for all the prayers & well wishes for my mom.

She's still doing well, as she recovers from the surgery. No huge changes. I think it's just going to be a slow road of recovery. Sleeping when she can, trying to manage the pain when necessary, eating according to her restrictions, and just taking care of herself so her body can continue to heal properly.

Thanks again for all of your kind comments, emails, phone calls, etc.

On a lighter note, it's been so fun having Angela and Jack around! Jack is just too happy, fun & cute! I find myself picking him up & carrying him around (even though he can walk very well) just because I want to squish his chubby little self. I sure love that little guy!
