So about 2 months ago I tore this out of the REI brochure I got in the mail.I'm not sure exactly what it is about these shoes, but I loved them. I wasn't about to spend $65 on them, but since most things eventually go on sale, I thought I'd tear the pic out so I would remember to check in a while to see if I could find them cheaper.
So, last week I was looking for a pair of black heels online & remembered the keen timberlines I had stuck on my fridge. I googled them & voila, I found them for $38 (including a 15% off coupon code and free shipping) on roadrunnersports.com. They didn't have the green which would have been my first choice (although they have it now), so I got the brown. They came today :-) The color isn't quite as fun, but it will go with more.
I'm not sure why, but I'm really excited about this stupid pair of shoes. So excited I guess that I'm blogging about them - how lame is that?!
So if you see me at Walmart tomorrow buying cat food, wearing my new Keen's, they're NOT slippers, they just look like it ;-)

ReplyDeleteI hate shopping, but will admit that I also find something I like and wait for it to go "out of season" and then google like mad to find it.
Just wear them with jeans and not pajama pants to Walmart! ha! ha!
