They were SO good on the drive to Vegas- only one melt down & I would have done the same thing if I had been woken up after only 30 min of napping. Thank goodness for the DVD player in "grandma's" car and for ipods! (Jack wanted to take my car, but I told him it didn't have a DVD player in it, so he agreed we should take grandma's car instead. They both wanted to bring Madison with us, but when I asked them where he would go to the bathroom - litter box in the car?!? LOL - they thought it was ok to let him stay home.)
We had so much fun & they were ecstatic to see their mom & dad! We ended Jack's Birthday in Vegas (4 yrs old) with yummy food from Steak 'n Shake, presents, mini cupcakes, a sleep-over in aunt Amy's hotel room & Cars 2 the next day.
I was sad to say good bye to my favorite little munchkins after 3 weeks, but I'm counting down the days until my next AZ visit (or another Vegas trip if "grandpa" has anything to say about it - since he & my mom couldn't make it this weekend).
