The horrible sore throat etc I had before I left, that was getting better, came back with a vengeance. I sound like I smoke 5 packs a day & it hurts to swallow. - sadly, I chose not to hike to the sun gate at machu picchu yesterday, because come 5:15am I wanted to roll over in bed and die. Luckily, as the day goes on, I've been feeling a little better, but at night it gets bad again. but I can't complain, because I'm having an amazing time and it's not digestion problems due to bad food/water. I can deal with a sore throat, but having to be close to a bathroom, would be nearly impossible.
