Tienanmen Square, The Forbidden City, The Great Wall, The Summer Palace, watching a Chinese acrobat performance, riding in rickshaws through a Hutong & visiting with a local family...Shopping, surprisingly good Chinese food including Peking Duck at the most famous Peking Duck restaurant in Beijing/all of china....traveling to & from Xi'an via train. Sleeping on the train, seeing the amazing city wall around Xi'an all lit up for the Mid Autumn Festival (complete with fireworks),
eating a fancy dumpling dinner & watching the Tang Dynasty Show (entertainment formerly only for the Emperor), walking around Xi'an & having the nicest people try to help us in the pharmacy even though we
AMAZING!
I mostly took video, so I need to get pics from other people.
We left SLC about 9am on Tuesday September 18th & arrived in Beijing about 3pm on the 19th. On the way home we left Beijing about noon on the 27th & arrived in SLC
Not much, but it stuck, so it counts as the 1st snow!




Sounds AWESOME Amy!!! I couldn't remember when you were leaving/coming home, but I figured you were there since you haven't posted in a while. Can't wait to see/hear more about it! So glad you had a great time! :)
