China & 1st snow!

China was Amazing!
Tienanmen Square, The Forbidden City, The Great Wall, The Summer Palace, watching a Chinese acrobat performance, riding in rickshaws through a Hutong & visiting with a local family...Shopping, surprisingly good Chinese food including Peking Duck at the most famous Peking Duck restaurant in Beijing/all of china....traveling to & from Xi'an via train. Sleeping on the train, seeing the amazing city wall around Xi'an all lit up for the Mid Autumn Festival (complete with fireworks),

eating a fancy dumpling dinner & watching the Tang Dynasty Show (entertainment formerly only for the Emperor), walking around Xi'an & having the nicest people try to help us in the pharmacy even though we were only looking for the coolest looking medicine boxes to buy for my cousin. Seeing the Terracotta Warriors & horses...
AMAZING!

I mostly took video, so I need to get pics from other people. Here are a few pics I did take.
We left SLC about 9am on Tuesday September 18th & arrived in Beijing about 3pm on the 19th. On the way home we left Beijing about noon on the 27th & arrived in SLC about 3pm on the 27th....and that was after a 4 hour layover in SFO (where we got to hang out with Ang & Jack!) The time difference is 14 hours. (when in SLC, add 2 hours & change the am/pm....when in China, subtract 2 hours & change the am/pm).

It Snowed Today!!!
Not much, but it stuck, so it counts as the 1st snow!
I "celebrated" by drinking a mug of chocolate cinnamon hot chocolate...mmmmm!
